Costume made and modeled by
This costume was a commission for a client and I couldn't help but try it on.
I loved working on this costume, the obi especially. The obi and skirt are hand painted, and the obi features satin stitching for the stems and leaf borders. The hyacinth flower on the obi is made from some left over Quistis fabric and heavy Peltex, with painted dowel rods and handmade beads. The wig was dyed a warmer shade of brown and cut and loosely styled. The earring is a painted dowel, handmade and glass beads, and gold chain links. The sleeves were dip dyed for the white-to-pink gradient. Absolutely love how this looks!
